Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were underwhelming with a small, chilly feel and a tiny bathroom with only a shower, plus limited amenities provided. On the bright side, the service was very nice, although at times the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. The location, while beautiful and convenient for exploring Oxford and the Cotswolds, required some upkeep and the prices were a bit steep. The dining experience offered healthy and delicious options. Overall, the hotel looked extravagant but needed more attention to match its surroundings.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms lacked air conditioning and proper ventilation, with dust, cobwebs, and spiders present, making it uncomfortably hot even with a fan and open windows. However, the service was exceptional, especially from Phoebe and Dawn at reception. The location was fantastic, although dining was a bit hit or miss.
